The main aim of the project
The main aim of the project Jean Monnet Module "Trustworthy artificial intelligence: the European approach" # 101085626 — TrustAI — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH is to study EU legislation and practices on trustworthy AI, dissemination of information about the new European approach to AI, public dialogue, and stakeholder discussion, improvement of public perceptions of EU values, and their compliance with ethical AI..Objectives
The objectives of the project are as follows:
• to promote excellence in teaching and research in the sphere of trustworthy AI in EU in general and implementation of trustworthy AI in Ukraine particular;
• to define the competencies and skills related to reliable AI and the learning strategies to follow to develop the competences in students;
• to improve the quality of professional information technology specialists, data scientists and business analytics training with a focus on the values of ethical AI, standards of EU and respect for human rights;
• to equip students, graduates, stakeholders and the public at large with knowledge of trustworthy AI in EU, promote understanding and perception of EU values, encourage of their enforcing in national practice;
• to promote innovation in teaching and research, including the development of open online courses and using blended learning tools.
Activities
It is planned to apply the following activities:
• conducting lectures, seminars, and training for students, using the modern methodologies and technics;
• organization of summer school for students of all directions;
• Retraining and training university teachers, students and schoolteachers on EU related issues;
• conducting roundtables for all stakeholders.
Outputs
Outputs of the project:
• development of two new discipline;
• development of new discipline and module;
• publication of the collective scientific monographs,
• conducting promotion events round tables with stakeholders, summer school.
• presentation of the results of research on the international scientific conferences;
• workshop for academic, professional and civil society audience on the issues of ethic AI problems, tools and technics;
• development of an open online course on the virtual platform of Moodle
